"Alashanek Ya Balady" is one of the largest student organizations in Egypt that’s interested in development projects.


Imagine a school full of litter; imagine a class without doors, windows or even desks. School Makeover is an annual event that aims to upgrade infrastructure of schools in ABU QARN, in this event AYB members and volunteers repair, paint and implant in order to provide a suitable environment for children in ABU QARN to learn, children in ABU QARN participate with us in renewing their schools to raise their sense of responsibility and to guarantee that schools will remain new as long as possible

Alashanek Ya Balady is holding the 2nd school makeover during the mid-year vacation, we are gonna to change some kids' lives, we are gonna renew their school, we are gonna Make Over their school, through our largest event: "School Makeover"

تخيل مدرسة مليئة بالنفايات، تخيل فصل بدون أبواب، نوافذ أو حتي مكاتب. تجديد المدرسة هو حدث سنوي يهدف إلي تحسين البنية التحتية للمدارس في عزبة أبو قرن، في هذا الحدث يقوم الأعضاء والمتطوعين في علشانك يا بلدي بإصلاح، دهان وزراعة مدرسة مختلفة كل عام في عزبة أبو قرن لتوفير بيئة مناسبة لتعليم الأطفال, يشارك أطفال العزبة أعضاء علشانك يا بلدي في تجديد مدارسهم ليشعروا بالمسؤلية تجاه مجتمعهم ولضمان بقاء المدارس جديدة لأطول فترة ممكنة

The recycling campaign is one of AYB’s projects that surely go under our developmental goals as we collect our old papers in the aim of supporting our developmental programs inside ABU QARN district with the needed money by selling them to be used again
